Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate overnight care to patients, ensuring safety and comfort
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report clinical changes promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Support the nursing team during admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Follow infection control practices and facility protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required or obtained upon hire
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Previous experience in long-term care, hospital, or similar setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed and active CNA program/certificate
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient handling and basic personal care
- Proficient in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
- Comfortable with charting and documentation, electronic or paper
- Good time management and ability to work independently overnight
