Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with compassion and respect
Take and record vital signs accurately and report significant changes to nursing staff
Respond promptly to resident calls and provide timely, attentive care
Observe and document skin integrity and report concerns to the care team
Perform safe resident transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair) and turning/repositioning to prevent injury
Maintain cleanliness in resident care areas — change sheets and restock supplies as needed
Communicate clearly with residents, families, and nursing staff to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehending)
Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate with long-term care staff

Education

Current California CNA license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) assistance
Vital signs monitoring and documentation
Resident transfers and safe handling (bed/chair/wheelchair)
Turning and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
Skin integrity observation and reporting
Resident call response and timely bedside care
Basic infection control and maintaining clean resident environments
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and care teams

Benefits

Compensation philosophy with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
