Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process to ensure safe, effective outcomes
• Provide telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms to promptly address changes in patient status
• Lead and delegate tasks to team members, promoting efficient and safe patient care
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal healthcare laws and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in clinical orientation and training

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state licensure required prior to start or as facility policy dictates)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required prior to contract start date
• PALS or ENPC certification required (one must be active prior to start); if not active, course must be booked by clinical orientation
• Active de-escalation training required prior to contract start or booked for orientation
• Experience in med-surg and telemetry patient care and telemetry monitoring skills
• Demonstrated leadership, delegation, and strong clinical judgment in acute care settings

• Nursing Process and clinical assessment
