Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Take vital signs, monitor patients, and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers and safe patient handling to promote independence
• Support mealtime assistance and documentation of intake when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to enhance care continuity
• Accurately document care in charts and follow facility procedures and policies

Qualifications

• Current LNA or T-LNA certification (state-licensed) — required
• Proven experience as an LNA or nursing assistant preferred
• Reliable personal transportation required; public transit in the area is limited
• Ability to commit to a 14-week travel assignment (start and end dates provided by the facility)
• Up-to-date immunizations and any facility-specific onboarding requirements

Education

• LNA or T-LNA certification required
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills including ADLs and safe transfers
• Accurate vital signs collection and observation skills
• Familiarity with basic charting and clear documentation practices
• Infection control and sanitation best practices
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management
