Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents during overnight and twilight hours
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Respond to acute changes and emergencies with professionalism and calm
• Support resident comfort, dignity, and individualized care throughout your shift

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico) or ability to obtain state licensure promptly
• Minimum clinical experience as required by facility (LPNs and RNs considered based on class)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS or other certifications if applicable
• Clean clinical and professional references and ability to pass required background checks
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts and occasional additional days

Education

• Graduation from an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN preferred)
• For LPN candidates, completion of an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for overnight patient monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation expertise
• Familiarity with long-term care or rehab nursing best practices
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing staff and providers
• Ability to prioritize patient safety and deliver person-centered care
• Basic electronic charting and record-keeping skills
