Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert post-procedure care for CHS and medical/telemetry patients, ensuring safe recoveries
• Assess and monitor patients continuously using telemetry; identify and escalate changes promptly
• Administer medications and follow treatment plans accurately, documenting care in the chart
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure instructions and ongoing care needs
• Maintain compliance with AHA BLS/ACLS protocols and hospital safety standards

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Ohio (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association ONLY (required)
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association ONLY (required)
• Experience in post-procedure care and medical/telemetry nursing
• Preferred: BSN or a professional nursing certification recognized by the Magnet Association

Education

• BSN preferred
• Certification in Nursing or other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Post-procedure patient assessment and recovery management
• Cardiac telemetry interpretation and monitoring
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking in acute care settings
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Teamwork in a fast-paced Med/Tele and procedural environment
