Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adult ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret complex clinical data, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and manage advanced therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Perform thorough assessments and document care clearly in the patient record
• Educate patients and families with compassion and clarity during critical moments

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or ability to obtain
• Experience working in an ICU or critical care environment (ICU skillset required)
• Current BLS certification; ACLS strongly preferred or required depending on unit
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to work independently on nights
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ventilator management and weaning principles
• Medication administration in an ICU setting, including vasoactive drips
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Infection control practices and ICU-specific procedural skills
