Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with compassion and respect
Provide safe, attentive bedside care and support during daily routines
Measure and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes promptly
Document care, observations, and patient interactions clearly and on time
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
Support patient mobility and fall prevention strategies to keep patients safe

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in the state of California (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Up-to-date immunizations and TB test as required by facility
Prior CNA or direct patient care experience preferred
Ability to pass a background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Reliable transportation and punctuality for per-diem assignments

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with personal care
Proficiency taking and recording vital signs accurately
Basic clinical documentation and charting skills
Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a care team
Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude when supporting patients
