Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Perform routine patient care tasks like vital signs, hygiene, and feeding support
• Document care accurately and maintain clear, timely communication with the team
• Follow infection control standards and maintain a clean, safe care environment
• Support patient dignity, comfort, and emotional needs during overnight hours

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Valid California CNA registration or eligibility to register
• Prior patient care experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on night shifts

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and patient safety practices
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and documentation basics
• Strong observational skills and clear reporting to nursing staff
