Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum nursing care in a family-centered setting
• Monitor fetal status and perform basic fetal monitoring to ensure maternal-fetal safety
• Triage obstetric patients and coordinate care with providers for timely interventions
• Care for newborns in the nursery, including routine assessments and newborn stabilization when required
• Respond to and assist with GYN surgical care as part of cross-trained clinical responsibilities
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization per NRP and STABLE principles when indicated
• Document patient care accurately and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary team members
• Educate and support patients and families throughout labor, delivery and postpartum periods

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
• Healthcare Provider level BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• NRP required
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required
• Experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum and nursery required
• STABLE and neonatal stabilization experience preferred
• Comfort working nights and rotating weekends in a fast-paced LDRP environment

Education

• Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Specific degree not specified in job posting; required clinical certifications listed in qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP clinical practice across labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care
• Newborn and neonatal care, including stabilization principles
• Fetal monitoring interpretation and response
• Obstetric triage and prioritization
• Nursery care and newborn assessment
• BLS, ACLS and NRP competency
• GYN surgical care familiarity
