Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vitals, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and transitions
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and initiate appropriate interventions
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up needs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty preferred (open to strong new grads with solid clinical skills)
• Comfort working overnight 12-hour shifts and managing multiple priorities
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Medication administration and IV management
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate charting
• Triage and escalation of patient condition changes
• Ability to work independently on overnight shifts and escalate when needed
• Familiarity with MST procedures and standards (as applicable) or willingness to learn
