Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-appropriate direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly and promptly
• Manage peri-procedural duties in the OR/Interventional setting and support PCU needs
• Enter case data for billing and maintain accurate digital archive/case logs
• Practice within the scope of the Oregon State Board of Nursing and uphold regulatory standards
• Support ED boarding needs PRN to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• ACLS required for GSR Interventional Care
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (CAP requirement for moderate complexity testing)
• Recent acute care experience required (ED, PCU, ICU preferred)
• Night shift experience and weekend availability preferred
• Comfortable with data entry for billing and digital case logging
• PRN flexibility and willingness to support multiple units as needed

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (verification required due to CAP)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding and application of the nursing process
• Proficient in patient assessment and age-appropriate care
• Experience with interventional care workflows and OR procedures
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and acute care experience (ED, ICU)
• Accurate case documentation and digital archive/case logging
• Familiarity with billing data entry and related documentation requirements
• Ability to prioritize in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
