Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients including ADLs and mobility assistance
• Perform accurate vital signs, intake/output tracking, and patient observations
• Assist nursing staff with treatments and follow established care plans
• Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely in the chart
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the care team
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families to promote comfort and dignity

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification valid in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous patient care experience preferred; per diem experience a plus
• Ability to work daytime per-diem shifts, with flexibility for varying assignments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical skills: vital signs, ADLs, patient transfers and positioning
• Patient safety and infection control best practices
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary care team
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
• Empathy, professionalism, and patient-centered communication
