Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocol
• Perform timely and accurate patient assessments and document findings
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate clinical staff
• Support resident comfort and dignity through daily care activities
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
• Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by following policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Basic nursing assessments and vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Infection control practices and patient safety principles
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and family members
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
