Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Medical-Surgical unit
Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
Document care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge readiness
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive unit culture

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — state requirements will be verified
Clinical experience or training in Medical-Surgical nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications welcomed
Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medical-surgical care principles and best practices
Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy
Proficient with patient assessment and documentation in EHR systems
Comfortable with prioritization in a fast-paced acute care setting
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient/family education and teamwork
