Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Assist nursing staff with resident mobility, transfers and ensuring safety
Support meal assistance and feeding when needed, monitoring intake
Document care provided and report any changes in condition to the nurse
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Build positive relationships with residents and their families through clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Comfortable with routine documentation and charting
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changes in resident condition
