Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Assist nursing staff with daily clinical tasks and timely documentation
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the licensed nurse promptly
• Support resident comfort and dignity by building trusting, respectful relationships
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Participate in shift handoffs and communicate care needs clearly to the care team

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable attendance and the ability to perform physical aspects of the role (lifting, standing, walking)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
• Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
• Comfortable with charting and basic documentation
• Good communication skills with residents, families, and clinical staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently during an 8-hour shift
