Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients — help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with activities of daily living and encourage patient dignity and independence
Take and record vital signs, monitor patient status, and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support quality care and continuity
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to meet individualized care plans and goals
Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and coworkers — kindness matters

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Compliance with facility-required immunizations and background checks
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a caring attitude
Ability to perform patient transfers and assist with mobility safely

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care and activities of daily living
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Infection control practices and safe hygiene procedures
Accurate documentation and charting habits
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
