Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional needs and create individualized treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions with empathy and skill
Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to achieve meaningful outcomes
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on exercise programs, home safety, and recovery strategies
Document clinical findings, plans, and progress clearly and timely
Participate in orientation and training to integrate smoothly into the team

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington state or eligible for licensure
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
Comfortable treating a diverse patient population with strong clinical reasoning
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Prior outpatient or acute care experience a plus

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; relevant clinical degree required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, and manual techniques
Strong documentation and clinical decision-making abilities
Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary care team
Good time management for short-shift workflows
Patient education and discharge planning expertise
