Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Rapidly assess and triage patients, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and ED staff to develop and implement patient plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and promptly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain situational awareness during high-acuity situations and assist in codes/trauma as needed

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain RN licensure in NH
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing experience preferred (1+ year suggested)
• Strong clinical assessment skills, ability to prioritize, and comfort in fast-paced settings
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Completion of accredited nursing program and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing workflows and triage principles
• Skilled in IV insertion, medication administration, and basic procedural assistance
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear clinical documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and crisis-management abilities
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
