Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patients through the night
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policy
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Support patient and family education with clear, patient-focused communication
Respond to patient changes and escalate concerns promptly to the care team

Qualifications

Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license — Georgia licensure required
Comfortable working overnight 12.5-hour shifts
Strong clinical judgment and a patient-centered approach
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Reliable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN / vocational nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on nursing skills: patient assessment, medication administration, basic wound care
Accurate charting and documentation practices
Effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
Time management and prioritization during busy overnight shifts
Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard nursing workflows
