Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a Med/Surg unit with pediatric patients
Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement care plans
Support families with education and clear communication about care and discharge plans
Participate in orientation and unit training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Washington
Med/Surg clinical experience; pediatric experience is a strong plus
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfort with working in a collaborative team and completing required orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
Medication administration and documentation proficiency
Experience caring for medical/surgical patients and pediatric population
Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
