Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while preserving dignity
• Take and record vital signs, report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Document patient information accurately and communicate effectively with team members
• Support safe and clean patient environments by following infection control and facility protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Engage patients and families with empathy, respect, and positive communication

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (current or obtained upon hire, preferred)
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements (TB test, immunizations)
• Comfortable with direct patient care and physical aspects of the role
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Prior experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong skills are welcome to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, patient transfers and mobility support
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Strong verbal communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Basic charting and documentation skills; experience with electronic health records is a plus
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in a fast-paced care setting
