Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes promptly to nursing staff
Maintain accurate documentation and resident charts with attention to detail
Support infection control and safety protocols to keep residents and team safe
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to deliver person-centered care
Help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes dignity and independence for residents

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification (required)
Valid CNA credential in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain) preferred
Compassionate attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
Prior experience in long-term care or a similar setting is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and any required facility screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Understanding of infection prevention and patient safety practices
Comfortable with manual lifting/transfer techniques and use of assistive devices
Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Professional, empathetic communication with residents, families, and staff
