Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting changes in condition promptly
- Assist nurses with treatments and follow care plans accurately and respectfully
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Document patient care thoroughly and communicate clearly with the care team
- Support mobility and positioning, including safe transfers and turning
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through kindness and professionalism
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania) or eligibility to obtain state certification
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of patient care basics and ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
- Proficient in taking/recording vital signs and recognizing changes in condition
- Understanding of infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Familiarity with charting and basic electronic health record entry
- Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nursing staff
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to de-escalate and comfort residents
