Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, reporting any concerning changes promptly
Support nursing staff by following care plans and documenting observations
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or state nursing assistant licensure (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and repositioning patients
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Willingness to undergo background checks and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care skills and infection control practices
Basic charting and documentation accuracy
Ability to observe and report changes in patient condition
Teamwork and collaboration within a multidisciplinary care setting
Compassionate, patient-focused bedside manner
