Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic procedures with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring images meet clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines at all times
• Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging exams, providing clear explanations and compassionate care
• Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and communicate findings as required
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly when called to support emergent imaging needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical setting
• Valid state Radiologic Technologist license required
• ARRT certification or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work 12:30 PM - 10:30 PM shifts and participate in on-call rotation
• Strong patient communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to produce clear, diagnostically useful radiographic images
• Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and PACS
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
• Excellent positioning and patient handling skills
• Solid critical thinking and the ability to work calmly in urgent situations
