Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic procedures with attention to patient comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring images meet clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to support patient diagnosis and treatment
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines at all times
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging exams, providing clear explanations and compassionate care
- Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and communicate findings as required
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly when called to support emergent imaging needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical setting
- Valid state Radiologic Technologist license required
- ARRT certification or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work 12:30 PM - 10:30 PM shifts and participate in on-call rotation
- Strong patient communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven ability to produce clear, diagnostically useful radiographic images
- Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and PACS
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
- Excellent positioning and patient handling skills
- Solid critical thinking and the ability to work calmly in urgent situations
