Shift Type: Rotating nights, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; works every third weekend; call approximately once every 10 weeks (night shift)
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine and musculoskeletal studies to support timely clinical decisions
- Execute advanced procedures such as brain perfusion and vascular CTA with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Prepare and administer contrast media, including starting peripheral IVs when required
- Operate Siemens CT and PACS systems efficiently and maintain accurate Epic charting for each patient encounter
- Collaborate closely with ER, ICU and trauma teams to respond to emergent imaging needs in a Level I trauma environment
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures while following regulatory and facility standards
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent requests for imaging
- Document procedures and maintain clear communication with multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
- ARRT certification required (ARRT CT preferred) and current BLS certification
- AART Advanced certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Siemens and Epic experience (hard stop)
- Comfort working in a fast-paced Level I trauma center and emergency department environment
- Demonstrated ability to start peripheral IVs and manage contrast administration safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate under pressure
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends and participate in on-call rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- CT imaging and protocol performance for abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine and MSK
- Brain perfusion and vascular CTA techniques
- Contrast media preparation and administration
- Patient safety, positioning and comfort during emergent and routine imaging
- Experience with Siemens CT systems and PACS
- Epic charting and electronic documentation
- Trauma imaging workflows and emergency department collaboration
- Ability to work across inpatient, ER and ICU settings
