Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform angiography, cardiac catheterization, vascular and interventional radiology procedures with attention to patient safety and image quality
• Assist physicians and the interventional team during procedures, anticipating needs and managing sterile technique
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment such as Siemens Artis Bi-Plane, DynaCT and AXIOM Sensis to capture diagnostic-quality images
• Prepare and manage medication and supply stations (Pyxis) and ensure appropriate labeling and documentation
• Maintain accurate procedural records in electronic systems including MEDITECH/Health Connect and FUJI CV PACS
• Monitor patient status using Phillips patient monitors and escalate concerns promptly
• Support infection control, equipment sterilization, and departmental quality and safety initiatives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii State license required by the start of assignment (travelers must apply upon acceptance if not currently licensed)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in angiography, cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures or interventional radiology
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption prior to contract start
• Familiarity with Siemens Artis Bi-Plane, Synco Inspace/DynaCT, AXIOM Sensis, Pyxis medication systems, MEDITECH/Health Connect, FUJI PACS and Phillips monitors

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional imaging workflows and radiation safety
• Skill in sterile technique and catheterization lab procedures
• Proficiency with PACS and electronic health record documentation
• Comfort with medication dispensing stations and supply management
• Excellent patient communication, teamwork, and critical thinking during high-acuity procedures
• Ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition and procedural needs
