Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Wednesday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (day)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses, and clinical changes
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
Maintain accurate, timely charting in the patient record
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Experience in long-term care or similar clinical settings preferred
Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and basic nursing procedures
Medication administration and documentation
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Infection control practices and safety protocols
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
