Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM day

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, direct patient care and support daily living activities
Administer medications and treatments according to plan of care
Monitor and document vital signs, patient condition, and care provided
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Assist with wound care, basic procedures, and restorative nursing tasks
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to promote safe care
Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a safe clinical environment
Contribute to quality improvement and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Vermont
Active CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Prior LPN clinical experience preferred and valued
Must have reliable personal transportation (LOCAL ONLY requirement)
Ability to pass facility background checks and meet onboarding requirements
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN / practical nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of basic nursing assessments and medication administration
Skilled in documentation and charting with attention to detail
Understanding of infection control and patient safety best practices
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
Comfort working within an interdisciplinary care team and following care plans
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred
