Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, high-quality telemetry nursing care for adult patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to telemetry alerts
• Perform focused patient assessments and escalate changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in California (required)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or available
• Experience working with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Comfortable providing hands-on bedside care in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Effective interdisciplinary communication
