Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
• Assess, monitor and document patient condition and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate excellent care
• Educate patients and families in a clear, supportive manner
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
• Respond professionally and calmly to urgent situations and clinical changes

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS) a plus
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred — per diem experience a bonus
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Sound patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and safety practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Effective communication with patients, families and clinical teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
