Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and design individualized treatment plans that help them regain function
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor progress toward goals
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to set expectations and encourage compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with discharge planning and recommend follow-up care to maximize long-term recovery
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment by mentoring aides and supporting teammates

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in California (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
• Comfortable with outpatient and varied caseloads; strong clinical reasoning skills
• Professional, empathetic communication and dependable documentation habits
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; graduation from an accredited PT program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and functional training
• Familiarity with common EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurologic rehabilitation principles
• Strong patient education and motivational coaching skills
• Time management and caseload prioritization for efficient, high-quality care
