Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
• Take and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation of care
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling techniques
• Support infection control practices and adhere to state vaccine mandates
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create a comfortable, dignified environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification (must have)
• Long Term Care experience required
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required by state mandate
• Willingness to work day shifts and engage with residents in a team setting
• Open to travel/contract assignment with potential for permanent placement

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident care
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
• Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills with residents and staff
• Ability to follow care plans and accurately chart care provided
