Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care during night shifts
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility care plans
• Contribute to a calm, respectful environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) on a per diem basis
• Comfortable working in a long-term care/rehabilitation setting (Genesis - West Region)
• Reliable, professional, and able to collaborate with nursing teams

Education

• CNA certification (state recognized) – required

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and safety practices
• Familiarity with infection control and sanitary procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately
• Time management during busy overnight shifts
