Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 4x10 schedule, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Day shift with staggered start between 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM; includes primary and backup on-call rotation (weekends and evenings/nights on call). Day off will vary week to week.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and maintain a sterile field during a full range of interventional radiology procedures
• Assist in neuro and stroke interventions, including thrombectomy and thrombolysis procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens and Philips fluoroscopy systems and utilize PACS daily
• Prepare and administer contrast safely and monitor patients during procedures
• Perform and assist with biopsies, venous access, drainages and a broad range of vascular studies
• Support kyphoplasty, angioplasty, stent placement and peripheral interventions
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and participate in patient education
• Participate in scheduled orientation, ongoing training and on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) registration required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year scrub experience in Neuro IR with stroke intervention experience (hard stop)
• Traveler experience required; candidates who are first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Proven inpatient hospital experience and comfort working in high-acuity settings
• Experience with Siemens and Philips x-ray systems, PACS and contrast administration
• Willingness to rotate primary and backup on-call duties and attend orientation week

Education

• Formal radiologic technologist training or equivalent preferred
• ARRT registration required
• BLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of neuro and body interventional procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, stents and thrombectomy
• Proficient with PACS, image acquisition and procedural documentation
• Skilled in sterile technique, scrub procedures and maintaining the sterile field
• Experience with biopsies, venous access, nephrostomy and genitourinary interventions
• Familiarity with Epic or McKesson charting systems preferred
• Comfortable managing a daily caseload (typically 13-17 cases) and working collaboratively under call
