Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and fall-prevention measures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and patient observations
• Support the interdisciplinary care team through clear communication and collaboration
• Help create a comfortable, respectful environment that promotes dignity for every patient

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico (required)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and a flexible per diem schedule
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in measuring and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Familiarity with basic charting and electronic health record systems
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong teamwork and effective communication with nursing staff and providers
• Patient safety awareness and attention to detail
