Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Keep patient rooms and care areas clean, organized, and safe
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and the care team to coordinate care
• Follow infection control procedures and facility policies to protect patients and staff
• Document care accurately and timely in the appropriate charts or electronic systems

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Willingness and ability to work overnight 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM shifts
• Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with ADLs
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control best practices
• Comfortable with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and staff
• Reliable time management and documentation skills
