Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor patients, record observations, and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges while preserving patient dignity
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow individualized care plans
• Support a positive environment through clear communication and teamwork
• Follow infection control protocols and promote a safe care environment

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in New Mexico required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and required immunizations
• Previous CNA experience preferred; dedicated new graduates are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care, ADLs, and vital sign monitoring
• Skill in safe patient handling and infection control practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good time management and attention to detail under busy conditions
• Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient dignity
