Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Perform telephone triage and patient education with clear, compassionate communication
• Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to support continuity of care and team communication
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient visits and follow-up
• Support clinic flow through efficient triage, rooming, and clinic tasks while maintaining clinical standards
• Float within your scope of practice to meet facility needs when requested, staying flexible and professional
• Maintain required certifications (BLS) and demonstrate clinical competence at all times

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license in hand — pending licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Outpatient clinic experience preferred but not required)
• Comfortable charting in EPIC (experience strongly preferred)
• Excellent telephone triage and patient communication skills
• Able to float within your skillset to support clinic needs when necessary

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in outpatient clinic workflows and telephone triage
• Proficient with EPIC charting and electronic documentation
• Strong patient education and counseling abilities
• Experience across clinic specialties welcomed (cardiology, family care, internal medicine, pediatrics)
• Solid clinical assessment and triage judgment
• Comfortable performing office duties that support efficient clinic operations
• Team-oriented mindset and effective interdisciplinary communication
• Adherence to infection control and safety standards
