Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment for patients
• Document care and communicate changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support residents emotionally and respectfully, promoting dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• State-required background checks and clearances as applicable
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and flexible per diem schedules
• Basic infection control knowledge and ability to follow facility protocols
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding, and assistance with daily activities
• Knowledge of infection prevention and standard precautions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to chart accurately and maintain clear documentation
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
• Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
