Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, timely emergency care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage and continuously reassess patients to prioritize care
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with physicians, techs and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the record
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up
Respond calmly and effectively to rapidly changing clinical situations and emergencies

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for California (required)
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or required per unit
Emergency Department (ER) experience preferred — show us your triage chops
Strong clinical judgment, ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency assessment and triage principles
IV therapy, medication administration and acute care interventions
Familiarity with common ER procedures and rapid response protocols
Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
Calm under pressure, strong multitasking and critical thinking abilities
