Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations across the full scope of modalities, ensuring diagnostic images for all CT exams as needed
• Operate Toshiba and GE CT scanners safely and efficiently
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in EPIC
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort, applying radiation safety principles and best practices
• Collaborate with radiology team members and unit staff to maintain smooth department flow during evening and overnight hours
• Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot studies, optimize protocols, and escalate concerns when appropriate

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) registry required
• BLS certification required
• Approximately 2 years of CT imaging experience preferred (as listed)
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation systems
• Experience with Toshiba and GE CT equipment
• ACR certification or ACR-recognized credentials preferred
• Strong critical thinking and patient-centered communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) imaging techniques and protocols
• Operation and troubleshooting of Toshiba and GE CT systems
• Proficient use of EPIC for documentation and workflow
• Radiation safety and patient positioning best practices
• Ability to perform a wide range of CT examinations
• Critical thinking for fast-paced evening and overnight decision making
