Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging for Emergency Department and Inpatient populations, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremities
• Operate GE CT equipment independently and safely, delivering high-quality diagnostic images
• Execute advanced CT procedures such as CTA and trauma protocol imaging with precision
• Provide compassionate patient care in fast-paced ED and trauma settings, prioritizing comfort and safety
• Document exams accurately in Meditech and communicate findings and patient status clearly to clinical teams
• Collaborate with radiologists, ED staff and inpatient teams to support timely patient diagnosis and care

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography required
• CT certification preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
• Proven ability to operate GE CT scanners (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice) independently
• Experience with Meditech or similar documentation systems
• Comfort working overnight in an ED/IP environment and managing trauma workflows

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong CT imaging knowledge and trauma imaging expertise
• Experience with trauma pan scans and CTA protocols
• Comfortable performing routine and advanced CT exams for ED and inpatient populations
• Familiarity with ACR-accredited imaging standards and hospital radiology workflows
• Excellent patient care skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to document thoroughly in Meditech and communicate across multidisciplinary teams
