Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilator settings and deliver safe, evidence-based mechanical ventilation for critically ill patients
• Perform ABG analysis and interpret results to guide respiratory interventions
• Provide direct critical care respiratory therapy, including advanced airway management when needed
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and ventilator changes in Meditech accurately and timely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Serve as a patient advocate and communicate clearly with patients and families about respiratory care

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, with critical care and ventilator experience preferred
• Proven experience with ABG analysis and mechanical ventilation
• Familiarity with Meditech and Rapidcom for ABG workflow is a strong plus
• Ability to work well within a team-oriented, fast-paced hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Mechanical ventilation and ventilator management
• ABG collection and interpretation
• Critical care respiratory therapy best practices
• Clinical documentation in Meditech
• Use of Rapidcom for ABG processes
• Strong assessment, decision-making, and patient communication skills
