Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality radiation therapy treatments including IMRT, SRS, and SBRT
• Operate and help maintain treatment units like Elekta Synergy and Elekta Infinity
• Perform simulation, treatment planning support, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging for precise patient setup
• Document care thoroughly in Epic and complete chart checks to ensure treatment accuracy
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and participate in infection-control/isolation precautions
• Support billing documentation for treatment types and devices to ensure accurate records
• Float between like units as needed and be adaptable to changing clinical needs

Qualifications

• ARRT - Therapeutic certification (ARRT T) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience (first-timers accepted in some cases)
• Epic charting experience required
• Familiarity with Mosaiq, C-RAD, and Elekta systems preferred; training to Elekta available if needed
• Active professional license required (pending licenses are not accepted at time of submission)
• Ability and willingness to float between like units

Knowledge & Skills

• IMRT, SRS, SBRT treatment techniques
• Simulation and treatment planning fundamentals
• CBCT/kV/mV imaging and B-mode acquisition targeting
• External beam therapy and field shaping
• Respiratory gating techniques
• Radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Chart checks, billing for treatment types/devices, and thorough documentation
• Patient/family teaching, lift/transfer device use, and emergency case response
