Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (day); candidate should also be willing to cover 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening) as needed — day/evening coverage (rotating coverage as required)

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead unit operations as the Unit Manager to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, fostering a positive team culture and professional growth
- Coordinate patient care and assignments, balancing clinical needs with staff resources
- Ensure charting, documentation, and regulatory compliance meet facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to streamline care transitions and improve outcomes
- Manage staffing adjustments and communicate coverage needs clearly and proactively
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and participate in unit-level problem solving
- Serve as a visible clinical leader, supporting patients, families, and staff through strong communication
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
- Proven experience in unit management or charge nurse role (leadership experience preferred)
- Comfortable with both day and evening coverage (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Strong clinical judgment, delegation, and communication skills
- Current ACLS/BLS (or facility-required certifications) as applicable
- Ability to pass facility onboarding and any required background or health screenings

- Unit management and clinical leadership
- Staff scheduling, supervision, and mentorship
- Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Regulatory compliance and quality improvement processes
- Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
