Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to ICU and PCU patients
• Assess and monitor patient status, interpreting telemetry and vital trends
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate concerns according to protocols
• Provide patient and family education with clear, empathetic communication
• Adhere to facility policies and regional performance expectations to maintain contract standing

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential required
• Experience working in ICU and/or PCU settings
• Comfort and experience with 12-hour shift schedules
• Ability to work both day and night rotations and weekends as required
• Willingness to work as a contract travel nurse and meet site performance expectations

Education

• Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
• Proficient with telemetry monitoring and interpreting patient data
• Effective clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Solid documentation and communication skills with the interdisciplinary team
• Adaptability to new unit workflows and regional policies
