Candidate Pay Rate: $40 - $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patient recovery and mobility
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training, helping them regain independence
Monitor and document patient progress clearly and professionally to guide ongoing care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs to extend progress beyond the clinic
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active Ohio PTA license (required)
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Previous SNF or rehab experience preferred
Strong communication and clinical skills, with the ability to work well on a team

Education

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Therapeutic exercise techniques and mobility training
Patient care and compassionate communication
Clinical documentation and progress monitoring
Patient and family education on home exercise plans
Interdisciplinary collaboration within a skilled nursing/rehab setting
